Staying sane while job searching

The day I almost gave up

Today is that day! I am feeling it hard core. I had little to no sleep last night because of plain fear. Fear that nothing is going to come along and being broke is just going to be my way of life. This really sucks. I hate this mind set I am in the funk folks really in the funk.

Now I have to try and figure a way to get out of this funk and land a job. Today my mind isn’t in it.

I know we all get in this funk from time to time but I have been looking for a remote job for well it feels like months but in reality, it’s been maybe 2 months. I still haven’t gotten an interview and still have scams coming left and right. I’m starting to get in panic mode and that’s not good. I feel like all I do all day is search and apply to jobs all day and keep getting the “were moving forward with more qualified applicants” after I researched exactly what they wanted and made sure my skills and such lined up perfectly. So, what is it that I am doing wrong am I really just over thinking this or am I really underqualified or what is it? For the life of me I can’t figure it out.

What does everyone here do to stop this mindset?

I’m doing the breathing exercises that I have mentioned in previous posts I take time away from the computer and job searches I still just don’t get it. About a week ago I thought I saw the light at the end of this long tunnel but then it was yet another scam. I’m feeling vulnerable and I know I’m not helpless. The only thing that keeps me going day in and day out is the fact to how bad I want to work from home.

Why does everyone here reading want a work from home job? I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on this journey.

I did research a company while wide awake in the middle of the night since I was researching better sleep and you all should really check them out

Promeed has so many products that will help with sleep to acne. Seriously, go check them out you will not want to miss out on their amazing products.
