I want to know how you stay sane with all the rejection emails from job applications.
I know on my end it is getting out of hand with the sorry were moving forward with other candidates at the time. I mean I read their job post, and I did make sure I had the experience they were looking for and then some. I still keep getting we love your resume and your qualifications, but we are moving forward with other more qualified applicants. This right here is a hard pill to swallow on the daily and multiple times a day.
So, what I am asking here is what does everyone do to keep their mental health in good shape when hearing this all the time. I know I sometimes take a step back and think about what I can do differently but, in all actuality, there’s nothing I can do differently.
So, in the meantime I take a step away and do things around my house that make me happy. That can be different things ranging from doing laundry cause who doesn’t like to have all their laundry done, I also will watch some tv, or go for a walk, or even just call a friend or family member and that takes my mind off of all of the rejection emails for a while then I just pick myself up dust myself off and get back to applying.
So, my question is what does everyone else do? I want to hear from you all so maybe we all can help each other out with this and keep our minds focused and sane.
